Expertise Models

Axontologic built a system that automatically constructs models of client service analyst expertise for a large IT research firm. Models were created for over 600 analysts using a database of customers' questions.

Incoming questions are now compared against these models to determine the best analyst to answer the customer's question.

This system reduced the number of "handoffs" significantly by identifying the most appropriate analyst from the text of the customer's inquiry, thereby saving the client money and increasing customer satisfaction.
